Beekman Named GPAC Pitcher of the Week

Doane Baseball pitcher Kyler Beekman has been selected the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Pitcher of the Week after his performance in last week's game against McPherson. This is the second time during the season that Beekman has received the honor.

In a relief appearance, Beekman threw 3.0 hitless innings to pick up a save against the Bulldogs. He struck out four batters in snapping McPherson's eight-game win streak.

Doane closes out their series with Dakota Wesleyan today (Tuesday) and will take on Morningside this upcoming weekend.
