Crawford Named GPAC Pitcher of the Week

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced this week's conference Player and Pitcher of the Week for baseball and Doane's Kaden Crawford was one of the honorees. Crawford was tabbed as the Pitcher of the Week after his performance against NAIA No. 10 Missouri Baptist. This is the second time in Crawford's career to receive the honor.

In a 9-2 win over Missouri Baptist, Crawford took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before finishing with a 7.0 inning complete-game win. He would finish the game allowing two runs on two hits and eight strikeouts.

On the year, he is 2-1 on the mound with 13 strikeouts in 18.0 innings of work. He has two complete games this season.

Crawford and the Tigers are off to the best start in program history, sitting at 13-1 overall.
