CSC Academic All-District Announced for Baseball

The 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams have been announced for the Baseball division. Doane placed three on this year's list.

Recognized for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom are Max Harris, Justin Nevells, and Aaron Vulcano. All recipients of the honor hold a cumulative grade point average above a 3.50.

Harris played in 45 games this year for Doane, hitting .287 with 33 runs scored, nine doubles, and eight stolen bases. He was the GPAC Gold Glove recipient at first base with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

Nevells played in 43 games for the Tigers, hitting .245 on the year. He scored 25 runs and drove in 26 while posting a GPAC-best .963 fielding percentage for qualifying shortstops.

Vulcano hit .319 in 42 games for the Tigers, scoring 29 runs and driving in 31. He had 17 extra base hits on the season, including seven home runs.
