CRETE, Neb. – Five members of the Doane University baseball team have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing their excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

Junior catcher Tanner Nelson, junior infielder Grant Sommers, senior outfielder Max Harris, sophomore designated hitter Jett Grossart, and junior pitcher Ethan Merk were selected to the prestigious academic team, which honors student-athletes who have achieved success athletically while maintaining outstanding academic records.
