Competitive Dance Wins Hastings Triangular

HASTINGS, Neb. — The Doane Dance Team delivered a strong all-around performance Wednesday night, earning first place at the Hastings Triangular with a final score of 87.50.

Doane topped the host school, Hastings, which finished second with a score of 78.57. The Tigers posted a clean routine with zero deductions and impressed the judging panel across all performance categories.

The competition format evaluated teams in Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop segments, along with Collegiate Image and Overall Performance Impression.

  • Hip Hop proved to be a standout for the Tigers, earning some of the highest technique and choreography marks of the night
