NFF Hampshire Honor Society Announced

The National Football Foundation (NFF) has released the 2020 Hampshire Honor Society list, recognizing football seniors who have completed their playing eligibility and held a 3.2 grade point average following the Fall 2019 semester.

Doane placed six members of the team on the list this year. Leading the way were a pair of Tiger offensive linemen in Hunter Bond (SR/Hickman, Neb.) and Taylor Sanders (SR/Lakewood, Colo.). Wide receiver Brandon Gannon (SR/Grand Island, Neb.) and placekicker Bryce Cooney (SR/Omaha, Neb.) were also named on the offensive side of the ball. The defense was represented by linebacker Connor O'Toole (SR/Wilber, Neb.) and defensive back Jose Salgado (SR/Loveland, Colo.).

A total of 22 Tiger seniors have been recognized for the award over the past three years.
