Football Announces National Signing Day Commitments

The 2024 football season closed on November 16 with a come-from-behind, 22-21, victory at Mount Marty. However, before that moment had occurred, Coach Jonathan Johnson and his staff were vigorously working to craft the 2025 recruiting class. As of National Signing Day (Feb. 5), the Tiger football program has locked in commitments from 25 student-athletes, including three transfers that enrolled at Doane in January.

"I am very proud of our staff and the hard work they have done to secure a very talented National Signing Day class," Coach Johnson said. "We will continue to build upon this throughout this spring semester and perhaps into the summer. This is a well-rounded class full of great football players but even better individuals that fit our culture. Our current roster is working very hard this offseason to develop on and off the field and we cannot wait to add these guys to the roster."
