Coach Jordan Potts joined the Tiger coaching staff in January 2024. He serves as the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs coach for Doane.

Potts joins the Tigers from Belhaven University (Ala.) where he has served as Linebackers or Defensive Backs Coach for six seasons. In 2023, the Blazers went 9-2 and Potts’ secondary recorded 11 interceptions. Prior to Belhaven, he did internships at Navarro College (Texas) and Bethel College (Kan.). He is a graduate of Bethel and was a four-year member of the Thresher football team.
