Five Basketball Players Named to CSC Academic All-Distrist Lists

Five Doane basketball players have been selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District lists for 2022-23. The Doane Men's Basketball team placed three on the list with the Doane Women placing two on the list. Student-athletes must hold a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average, be enrolled for a full year, and meet the participation requirements to be eligible for nomination.

Receiving the award this year for the men's program were Caleb Hrabik, Ben Renshaw, and Nick Saiz. Hrabik averaged 4.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game in 25 games. Renshaw averaged 3.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.5 assists per game in 25 games. Saiz played in all 28 games, averaging 5.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists.

Women's Basketball players selected this year were Mak Hatcliff and Olivia Nall. Entering the GPAC Postseason Tournament, Hatcliff is averaging 21.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 28 games. Nall, in 28 games, is averaging 5.0 points, 2.7 points, and 1.3 assists per game.

All five players will now be up for selection to the CSC Academic All-American teams.
