Men's Basketball opened conference play on Friday evening with a 64-46 loss at Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, S.D. Doane closed the game with a 10-0 run.
Nick Saiz led the way with 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting. He added four rebounds and one steal. Brady Timm finished with seven points and led the team with two assists. River Johnston returned to action and led the way with seven rebounds.
The Tigers shot 34-percent from the floor and 31-percent from 3-point range for the game. DWU hit on 39-percent of their shot attempts, making 26-percent of their attempts from behind the arc. Dakota Wesleyan held a 44-38 rebounding advantage.
Doane will travel further north for a Saturday, November 18, match-up at Jamestown. Tip-off is set for 2:45 PM.
