Lazaridis Named GPAC Men's Golfer of the Week

Doane Men's Golf member Achilleas Lazaridis has been named this week's Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance last weekend at the Bethel Invitational. This marks the first time he has received the honor.

Lazaridis was victorious in the Bethel Invitational, conquering two different courses to post an even-par score of 143. He played the Par 3 holes at 1-over par, the Par 4 holes at 1-over par, and the Par 5 holes at 2-under par. For the tournament, he recorded the most birdies with 10.

Doane returns to action on Saturday, April 15, when the Tigers and Concordia University meet up for the annual Tiger/Bulldog Cup, a match-play style competition. The event will be held at York Country Club beginning at 10 AM.
