Weiss Recognized as GPAC Men's Golfer of the Week

Ryan Weiss of Doane University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. The honor is the first of the season for Weiss and the second of his career.

Weiss tied the 54-hole tournament school record with a 208 at the Central Plains Invitational held at Salina Country Club in Salina, Kansas. He capped the tournament with a final round of 65, one stroke off the single-round school record. He birdied the final hole of the tournament to clinch a two-stroke victory.
