Shorthanded Men's Soccer Falls at Hastings

Doane Men's Soccer traveled to take on Hastings on Wednesday evening for a late night contest. The Tigers played a man down the majority of the contest and fell to the Broncos, 2-0.

Hastings scored their first goal in the 42' and then added a penalty kick goal in the 44'. The Broncos out-shot the Tigers 14-3 in the opening half and 20-3 for the game.

Hunter Pitt (FR/Lincoln, Neb.) finished with six saves for the Tigers. Brody Mueller (SO/Liberty, Mo.) led the Tigers with two shot attempts.

Doane will return to action on October 19 when they travel to Fremont and take on the Midland Warriors.
