Doane Men's Soccer dropped a 3-1 decision at Midland on Wednesday evening. The Tigers dropped into a tie for 8th as they continue to battle for a GPAC Tournament bid.
Midland scored the first three goals of the game before Doane was able to get on the board. In the 33' of play, Matias Ventura (SO/Santiago, Chile) sent a pass to Zane Boudreau (JR/Papillion, Neb.) who finished it off for a goal.
Doane was out-shot for the game, 16-7, with shots on goal fairly equal at 7-6 in the Warriors' favor. Hunter Pitt (FR/Lincoln, Neb.) was in goal for the first half with Nicolas Olmas played the second half and had three saves.
The Tigers will host Dordt on Saturday, October 22, at 7:15 PM. Prior to the game, the Tigers will recognize their senior class.
