Men's Soccer Drops Road Contest

Men's Soccer made their way to Orange City, Iowa, on Saturday evening to take on Northwestern in conference play. The Red Raiders jumped out early and posted a 6-1 win over the Tigers.

Northwestern scored the first five goals of the game with three coming in the first half. They held a 15-0 shot advantage in the opening 45 minutes of action.

In the second half, Doane was able to get on the board in the 56' as Luis Rejano Candau sent a pass forward behind the Red Raider defense. Ameer Madden was the first to the ball and on a single touch, centered to Nicolas Jones for a shot attempt and goal. It was Jones' second goal of the year as Madden and Rejano Candau each received an assist.

Doane will play at Hastings on Saturday, October 26, at 8:00 PM.
