Men's Soccer headed west on Saturday to take on Hastings in GPAC play. The Broncos were able to defend their home turf, picking up a 2-0 win over Doane.
Hastings scored a goal in each half. In the 10' of play, Joe Vokins crossed a ball to the middle of the field where he found Lewis Albert for a goal. In the 53', David Hoti scored an insurance goal for the Broncos.
Hunter Pitt drew his first start in goal on the season and finished with six saves in 90 minutes of action. Hastings out-shot the Tigers, 22-12, for the game with shots on-goal at 8-6 in the Broncos' favor.
Doane will close out the season on Wednesday, October 30, with a home game against Mount Marty at 7:15 PM. Senior recognition will take place following the women's contest that starts at 5 PM.
