Jelicich, Oberg Named All-GPAC for Men's Soccer

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced the 2025 Men's Soccer All-Conference list on Thursday. Two Doane men's soccer players were selected to this year's list.

Mateo Jelicich, a freshman forward from Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina, led the Tiger offense this year with five goals scored and one assist. He recorded four of his goals in conference play as well as his assist. For his accomplishments, he was recognized as a Second Team All-GPAC member.

Curtis Oberg, a senior goalkeeper from Gretna, Nebraska, started all 16 games in goal for the Tigers. He played 1,325 minutes in net, posting 87 saves with a 2.38 goals against average. He was recognized as an honorable mention selection.

The recognition for both players marks the first in each of their careers. Doane finished with a 2-10-4 overall record and a 1-5-4 mark in GPAC play, tying for eighth.
