Men's Tennis Downed by Ottawa

Doane Men's Tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to Ottawa (Kan.) on Friday. The Tigers took on the Braves at Genesis Health Club in Lawrence, Kansas.

The team of Federico Infante and Diego Infante won at No. 1 doubles, 6-4. The Braves took the remaining doubles matches to earn the team point, winning at No. 2, 6-2, and at No. 3, 6-4.

The Braves won all singles matches with two going to a tie-break. Jorge Chevez dropped his match to Santiago Tartaglia, 4-6, 6-2, 0-1 (7-10) while Esteban Gutierrez lost his match, 6-3, 4-6, 0-1 (5-10).

Doane returns to action on Sunday, February 26, as they take on McPherson (Kan.) in Fremont at the YMCA. First serve is set for 2:30 PM.
