Creighton Snaps Men's Tennis Win Streak
Doane Men's Tennis traveled to Omaha on Sunday to take on Creighton at Koch Tennis Center. The Bluejays won the match, 7-0, and snapped the Tigers' four-match win streak.
In doubles play, the Bluejays won all three matches with the 3-doubles match coming down to a tie-breaker. Creighton won 7-4 in the tie-break.
As the teams moved to singles action, the match at 1-singles was a back-and-forth battle. Creighton's Casey Ross held off Doane's Jorge Chevez, 6-4, 6-4. The Bluejays won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Next up for the Tigers will be a return to conference action on Wednesday, April 5, in Seward against Concordia.
