Chevez Earns NAIA Honorable Mention Nod for All-American Honors

Doane Men's Tennis senior Jorge Chevez was named today to the NAIA All-American honorable mention list for 2022-23. He is the first Tiger men's tennis player to receive the recognition.

Chevez wrapped up a stellar career for Doane, finishing with a career dual record of 60-20 for a .750 win-percentage in singles play. His 60 wins is the program record since the restart of tennis in the mid-1990s. He posted the single-season wins mark of 17 victories in 2021.

In doubles play, Chevez posted a career record of 53-25 for a .679 win-percentage. His win total tops the Tiger charts.
