Men's Tennis Picks Up Win at Tabor

Men's Tennis traveled to Hillsboro, Kansas, on Tuesday afternoon to take on Tabor (Kan.). The Tigers topped the Bluejays, 6-1.

Doane won two of the three doubles matches to take the first team point awarded. Jose Purizaca and Esteban Gutierrez teamed up for a 6-4 win at 2-doubles. Andre Hartman and Elliot Dassel won 6-2 at 3-doubles.

In singles action, the Tigers took five of the six matches. Gutierrez won 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6), at 1-singles and Purizaca won 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), at 2-singles. Federico Infante won 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (10-6), at 3-singles. Hartman posted a 6-0, 6-4, win at 5-singles and Dassel won 6-3, 6-1, at 6-singles.

Next up for the Tigers is a trip to Baldwin City, Kansas, to take on Baker. First serve is set for 2 PM on Sunday, March 3.
