Men's Tennis Drops Opener in Alabama

Men's Tennis opened their trip to Alabama by taking on Spring Hill in Mobile. The Tigers dropped a tight match, 5-2, with four of the singles matches decided in a tie-break.

Doane dropped all three doubles matches to give the Badgers an early 1-0 lead. In singles play, Spring Hill won at No. 1 and No. 2 with both matches decided in a tie-break.

The Tigers picked up a win at No. 3 singles as Federico Infante won in a tie-break, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7). Elliot Dassel won at No. 6 singles in a tie-break, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).

Next up is a pair of matches with the University of Mobile on Tuesday, starting at 11 AM. The second match between the two teams will start at approximately 2 PM.
