Men's Tennis Runs Win-Streak to 10 Over NWU

Men's Tennis hosted Nebraska Wesleyan on Tuesday in Crete. The Tigers posted a 6-1 win over the Prairie Wolves, running their current win-streak over the long-time rival to 10 straight matches.

The Tigers swept through doubles play, though a few matches were tight. Federico Infante and Diego Infante won 7-5 at 1-doubles. Esteban Gutierrez and Jose Purizaca won 6-2 at 2-doubles. Andre Hartman and Elliot Dassel posted a 7-6 (9-7) win at 3-doubles, coming back from a 5-1 deficit.

Gutierrez won 6-3, 6-2, at 1-singles while Purizaca posted a 6-0, 6-0, win at 2-singles. Federico Infante won 6-2, 6-4, at 3-singles and Hartman posted a 6-1, 6-4, win at 4-singles. Julio Avila won at 5-singles, 6-0, 7-6 (7-2).

Next up for the Tigers is a home match with Baker (Kan.) on Saturday, April 6.
