Men's Tennis Clinches GPAC Tournament Bid

Men's Tennis traveled to Hastings on Wednesday afternoon and topped the Broncos, 7-0. The win clinched a berth in the GPAC Tournament.

Hastings forfeited 5-singles and 6-singles as well as 3-doubles. In doubles play, Doane won both contested matches. Federico Infante and Diego Infante won 6-1 at 1-doubles. Esteban Gutierrez and Jose Purizaca teamed up for a 6-0 win at 2-doubles. Both teams improved to 4-1 in conference play.

Gutierrez won 6-1, 6-3, at 1-singles for his 12th win of the season. Purizaca won his 11th match of the year with a 6-2, 6-1, win a 2-singles. Federico Infante won his 12th match of the year with a 6-0, 6-1, win at 3-singles. Diego Infante won 6-0, 6-0, for his sixth win of the year at 4-singles. Andre Hartman and Elliot Dassel won by forfeit at 5-singles and 6-singles, respectively, as well as 3-doubles.

Doane closes out the regular season on Saturday, April 20, at Fremont. First serve is scheduled for 12 PM.
