Purizaca Named GPAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following tennis player-of-the-week for February 24-March 2, 2025.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Tennis – Jose Purizaca, Doane University
Jose Purizaca of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Purizaca, a senior from Lima, Peru, went undefeated on the weekend, winning both his singles and doubles matches in near sweeps. He improved to 4-1 in singles action with the win.
