TEXARKANA, Texas — The Doane University men's tennis team battled through several tight matches but fell 7-0 to Texas A&M–Texarkana on Wednesday afternoon in a nonconference contest.

The Eagles claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3, while the Tigers secured one victory in doubles play. The pairing of Andre Hartman and Jaime Asiain Banzo earned Doane's lone doubles win, defeating Alvaro Tormo Lopez and Lawson Swain 6-3 at No. 2 doubles. Texas A&M–Texarkana took the other two matches, including a 6-4 decision over Diego Infante and Elliot Dassel at No. 1 and a 6-2 result against Mats Vervloet and Miles Mollring at No. 3.
