Moore, Partridge Take GPAC Weekly Honors

Doane Men's Track and Field athletes JaDae Moore and Luke Partridge have been named this week's Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their performances last week at the Ward Haylett Invite. This is the first time for each individual to receive the weekly GPAC honor.

Moore is this week's GPAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week after posting a personal best time in the 60m dash. He won with a time of 6.89 seconds, posting a NAIA provisional national qualifying time. His time is the 21st-fastest this season in the NAIA. Moore also placed third in the 200m dash with a time of 23.09.

Partridge is the GPAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week after winning the men's weight throw. He hit a throw of 17.15m (56-03.25), winning the event by nearly six feet. His throw met the NAIA automatic national qualifying standard. He is currently fourth in the NAIA this year with a top throw of 18.11m (59-05.00).

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, January 14, when they host the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic.
