Partridge Receives NAIA Field Athlete of the Week Honor
Doane Men's Track and Field thrower Luke Partridge has added to his week of accolades as he has been named the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Field Athlete of the Week. This is the first time Partridge has received the honor and he is the eight Doane field athlete to be acknowledged with the national honor.
Partridge met the NAIA national qualifying standard in the weight throw on Saturday at the Ward Haylett Invitational. He hit a top mark of 17.15m (56-03.25) and won by nearly six feet. Partridge is currently ranked No. 4 in the NAIA this year in the weight throw.
Doane returns to action on Saturday, January 14, when they host the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic beginning at 10 AM.
