Men's Track and Field Competes at Prairie Wolf
Men's Track and Field competed in Lincoln on Saturday at the Prairie Wolf Invite.
On the track, Ryland Garretson posted the top finish for the Tigers in the 100m dash with a time of 11.15, placing fifth. Connor Bradley placed ninth in the 200m with a time of 22.69. JaDae Moore took third in the 400m with a time of 49.45.
In the 800m, Emmanuel Yego ran a time of 1:55.89 to place fifth. Logan Menke took 11th in the 1500m with a time of 4:14.38. Michael Grigsby competed in the 5000m and ran a time of 15:24.01 to place third.
In the 110m hurdles, Carter Niles placed fifth with a time of 15.67. Motega Clancy finished in 10th with a time of 58.96 in the 400m hurdles. Joseph Seifferlein took third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:12.26.
The 4x100m relay team of Devon Jackson, Moore, Garretson, and Dalton Whisenhunt ran a time of 41.64.
In the field events, Peyton Herrick took second in the high jump with a mark of 1.93m (6-04.00). Drew Garrison placed third in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.40m (14-05.25).
Michael Willey won the long jump with a mark of 6.64m (21-09.50). Sam Boldt placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 12.89m (42-03.50).
Tad Dimmitt placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 14.94m (49-00.25). Christopher Brown won the discus with a throw of 48.38m (158-09). Trey Dickey took second in the hammer throw with a NAIA provisional qualifying distance of 56.28m (184-08). Mason Crumbliss won the javelin with a throw of 53.30m (174-10).
Next up for the Tigers will be the GPAC Championships in Hastings on May 2-3.
