Men's Hurdles Records Fall at Drake Relays

Men's Track and Field was in action on Friday and Saturday at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.

On the track, Zach Turner improved his NAIA leading times in the hurdles. In the prelims on Friday, he ran a time of 13.66 for the fastest NAIA time this season. He placed third in the finals with a time of 13.84. In the 400m hurdles, he improved his NAIA time with a school record time of 50.81. Andrew Brown added a provisional NAIA qualifying time in the 400m hurdles with a mark of 53.49.

Brown and Turner were joined by Zach Fox and Andrew Harms as they competed in the 4x110m shuttle hurdles. They ran a school record time of 58.32 to place fifth.

Joaquin Gutierrez placed 13th in the 400m with a time of 48.05.

In the high jump, Dylan Starr took fifth with a mark of 2.03m (6-07.75). Brian Cech placed 13th in the triple jump with a mark of 13.80m (45-03.50).
