CSC Academic All-District Selections Announced

The 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams have been announced for the Track and Field/Cross Country division. Doane placed the full allotment of five on this year's list.

Recognized for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom are Zach Turner, Mason Crumbliss, Dylan Starr, Thomas Oliver, and Tad Dimmitt. All recipients of the honor hold a cumulative grade point average above a 3.50.

Turner was a three-event national champion and five-time All-American this year. He was named the NAIA Most Valuable Performer for the outdoor season after winning the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles. Turner was a four-time All-GPAC performer between the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Crumbliss was an all-conference performer for the Tigers in the javelin during the outdoor season. He won three meets this year in the event.

Starr was a national qualifier for the high jump in both seasons, earning All-American honors during the indoor championships. He was all-conference during the indoor season for the high jump.

Oliver was a national qualifier for the Tigers for cross country, placing 55th nationally. He earned all-conference honors in cross country as well as indoor track.

Dimmitt was a three-event All-GPAC performer for the Tigers this year. He earned honors for the indoor weight throw and the outdoor hammer throw and shot put.
