Antesberger Receives GPAC Wrestler of the Week Honor

Bradley Antesberger of the Men's Wrestling team has been named the GPAC Wrestler of the Week for his performance last week. This is the second time he has received the honor and the first this season.

Antesberger picked up the lone GPAC victory over a ranked opponent last week as Doane defeated Midland, 50-0. In a Top 25 battle, he took on NAIA No. 25 Kolton Kammeyer in the 197 weight class. Antesberger, ranked No. 2, battled through a scoreless opening period but would take over in the second period. He recorded two near-fall points to take the lead before out-scoring Kammeyer, 7-1, in the final period. The final result was a 9-1 major decision.

Doane will be in action on Saturday, December 17, as they compete at the Concordia Duals. The Tigers are scheduled to take on four opponents on Saturday.
