Men's Wrestling Pulls Away to Top Dakota Wesleyan

Men's Wrestling picked up their second win of the day as they defeated Dakota Wesleyan at the GPAC Duals, 33-8. 

Doane jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two matches as Nathan Rizek won 11-4 at 125 and Devin Avedissian won 5-0 at 133. Dakota Wesleyan won their first match at 141 in overtime, 12-9. Nate Lendt was victorious at 149 with a 7-3 victory and Benjamin Miller posted an 8-3 win at 157.

DWU won by tech fall at 165, cutting the Doane lead to 12-8. However, the next three matches went to Doane by forfeit to secure the team victory. At heavyweight, Eli Criblez won by decision, 7-2.

Doane wraps up the GPAC Duals with a match against No. 17 Morningside at 3:30 PM.
