Beauperthuy Named GPAC Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's wrestler-of-the-week for contests player for November 11-17, 2024.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University – 184lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Beauperthuy, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, put on a dominant display at the Embry-Riddle Mile High Open in Arizona over the weekend. In winning the tournament with a 4-0 mark, he recorded two wins by tech fall and two by pin. Both pins came over nationally ranked NCWA wrestlers. Beauperthuy improved to 9-0 on the season with the GPAC Dual coming up next for Doane on November 26.
