Men's Wrestling Opens Season Ranked 10th in NAIA
CRETE, Neb. - Doane men's wrestling will start the 2025-26 season looking to build on the program's best finish after placing fourth at the NAIA Championships last season. A strong core of wrestlers return for a Tiger team that will start the season ranked No. 10 in the NAIA and was tabbed as the preseason favorite in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
Returning national runner-up Tyson Beauperthuy will start the season ranked No. 1 at 184, pacing Doane's 11 ranked wrestlers. Six returning national qualifiers are ranked for the Tigers. Brian Peck will start the season ranked No. 12 at 125 while Matthew Terrence is ranked No. 14 at 133. Ben Miller is ranked No. 8 at 149, joining Beauperthuy as the team's two Top 10 ranked wrestlers. Kolton Kammeyer and Eli Criblez are ranked No. 17 at 184 and 285, respectively.
The brother tandem of Ray Ray Harris and Anthony Harris are ranked for the Tigers to start the season. Ray Ray is ranked No. 16 at 125 and Anthony is ranked No. 25 at 133. Jaren Jackson and Chase Stieb are ranked at 197, sitting at No. 20 and No. 24, respectively. Transfer Jake Prudek will start the season ranked No. 16 at 174.
