Beauperthuy Named GPAC Men's Wrestler of the Week

(GPAC RELEASE - SIOUX CITY, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's wrestler-of-the-week for contests played January 5-11, 2026. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2025-2026 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University– 184lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Beauperthuy, a senior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, went 4-0 at the NWCA National Duals, defeating three ranked opponents all with bonus points. In his final two matches, he picked up Top 10 wins. He defeated No. 8 Adrian Chavez-Morales (Southern Oregon) by tech fall, 22-5, and No. 4 Isaiah Twait (Corban) by major decision, 17-5.
