Men's Wrestling NAIA Scholar-Athletes Announced

CRETE, Neb. — The Doane University men's wrestling program had seven student-athletes named 2025-26 NAIA Men's Wrestling Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NAIA national office.

Representing the Tigers this season were Tyson Beauperthuy, Angelo Franco, Jaren Jackson, Thure Johnson, Liam Knerr, Shane Sherrill, and Chase Stieb.

The NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition is awarded to sophomore-, junior-, and senior-level student-athletes who maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while competing in their sport.
