Bio

Zack Wilcox joined the Doane coaching staff before the 2019-20 season. He previously coached at Midland from 2013-19. He is also been on staff for the Nebraska USA Wrestling (NEUSAW) Freestyle and Greco teams since 2012. He was named Head Coach of the Doane Women's Wrestling program in August 2022.

In July 2022, Wilcox led the Team USA 20U Greco-Roman Wrestling team to the Pan-American Wrestling Championship in Mexico. During the meet, his wrestlers collected 10 medals. Team USA wrestlers went 26-5 during the competition and captured six gold medals. The American team added two silver and two bronze medals on their way to the team title.

An Omaha native, he wrestled collegiately at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and Maryville University (Mo.). He was a three-time collegiate Academic All-American and a two-time NCAA National Championship at UNO.

In his coaching career, Wilcox has mentored numerous high school and collegiate All-Americans.
