Softball Places Six on All-GPAC List
Softball placed six players on this year's All-GPAC postseason honors list. The Tigers had one repeat honoree from last year.
Katelyn Hays received Second Team honors as an infielder. The Tiger freshman finished with a .311 batting average, posting 10 doubles and seven home runs while driving in 31 runs.
Anna Prauner received Second Team as an outfielder. She hit .339 on the year with 10 doubles and a home run.
Grace Dowding was a repeat Second Team selection in the outfield. She hit .252 on the year with four doubles, five triples, and 15 runs driven in. She scored 21 runs and stole eight bases.
Faith Molina earned Second Team honors at pitcher. In 121.2 innings pitched, she struck out 101 batters and posted a 3.51 earned run average. She was 12-8 on the season with two saves and nine complete games.
Marisa Marquez was selected to the honorable mention list as an infielder. She hit .228 with 10 doubles, two triples, and a .357 on-base percentage.
Sarah Shevenell was an honorable mention selection at pitcher. She was 5-6 on the year with a save in 81.1 innings pitched. She had a 3.18 earned run average with 76 strikeouts.
