Softball Academic All-District Released by CSC

The 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams have been announced for the Softball division. Doane placed three on this year's list.

Recognized for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom are Grace Dowding, Anna Prauner, and Jeryn Allen. All recipients of the honor hold a cumulative grade point average above a 3.50.

Dowding had a team-high .365 batting average this year in 40 games, scoring 25 runs and stealing 14 bases.

Prauner hit .286 on the year in 45 games. She scored 16 runs and drove in 13 while adding two defensive assists from the outfield and a .978 fielding percentage.

Allen caught the majority of the Tigers' games, playing in 46 games on the season. She hit .288 with 21 runs scored and 13 stolen bases.
