The Killer "B's" Grab All-GPAC Honors

The Great Plains Athletics Conference (GPAC) announced the 2015-16 all-conference honors following the conclusion of the conference postseason tournament. The Doane women placed three players on the list this year after going 15-15 overall this season.

Heather Broman (SR/Geneva, Neb.) was selected to the First Team All-GPAC list. The Tigers' leading scorer and rebounder this year, she averaged 16.6 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 56.7-percent from the floor.

Hanah Barnard (JR/Beatrice, Neb.) was chosen to the Second Team list by the conference coaches. She was second on the team in scoring with 14.9 points and led the team in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 39.5-percent behind the arc (58-147).

Shelbi Bittinger (SR/Milford, Neb.) received honorable mention honors this year. Bittinger averaged 11.7 points and 6.9 rebounds while leading the team with 95 assists and 66 steals. She was the team's leading free throw shooter at 75.3-percent.

Each member of the trio reached the 1,000-point milestone this year.
