Hatcliff, Holtz, Chambers Claim All-GPAC Honors
Doane Women's Basketball put three players on the 202-23 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference list announced on Wednesday morning. Mak Hatcliff received First Team honors, Macy Holtz was named to the Second Team, and Megan Chambers was an honorable mention selection.
Hatcliff was the team's leading scorer for the second straight season, averaging 21.6 points per game as she shot 51.7-percent from the floor and 32.9-percent from beyond the arc. She connected on 82.9-percent of her free throw attempts. Hatcliff added a team-high 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 1.8 assists.
Holtz was second on the team with 13.8 points per game, shooting 42.6-percent from the floor and 36.8-percent from behind the 3-point arc. She added 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.1 steals per game for the Tigers in her first year in the program.
Also a first-year Tiger was Chambers. She finished third on the team with 9.6 points per game, hitting at a 56.9-percent clip from the floor. She was second on the team with 5.4 rebounds per game and led the way with 1.1 blocks per contest.
Doane finished 14-15 overall, finishing eight in the GPAC with an 8-14 record. The Tigers advanced to the GPAC Tournament for the first time since 2017.
