Women's Basketball host (RV) Northwestern on Saturday afternoon in Crete. The two teams battled in a low-scoring affair with the Red Raiders holding on for a 59-55 win.
Megan Chambers led the Tigers in scoring with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting. She added a team-high six rebounds as well. Macy Holtz posted 12 points and three steals. With her first basket of the game, Holtz became the 36th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points as a Tiger. Mak Hatcliff finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
Northwestern received 20 points and 13 rebounds from Molly Schany. Hali Anderson added 14 points and six assists.
Doane will host College of Saint Mary on Wednesday, February 5, at 6 PM for their next outing.
