Hatcliff Named Academic All-American by CSC
The Women's Basketball Academic All-American team was announced this week by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Doane's Mak Hatcliff was honored for the second straight year. She was one of three players to repeat on the list of 11 players. Hatcliff was named Second Team Academic All-American for the second time.
Hatcliff is a pre-medicine major who will graduate in May. She concluded her playing career as Doane's all-time leading scorer with 2,455 points. This past season she averaged 19.2 points per game and 6.7 rebounds a contest. She was recently named Third Team All-American by the NAIA.
In addition to her success on the court, she added success in the classroom that brought her several honors over her career including, but not limited to, NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Dean's List, and Doane's Junior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
