Streeter, Jarm Lead Women's Golf to Siouxland Invite Team Title

Women's Golf took part in the Siouxland Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Iowa. The first round was played at The Ridge GC in Sioux Center with the second round at Landsmeer GC in Orange City. The Tigers posted two team records on their way to the team title with a 620 (308-312). It was the program's first tournament win in a meet outside of Crete since April 2019.

The Tigers opening round of 308 broke the school record for a single round. Their total of 620 broke the school record for a 36-hole tournament.

Sydney Streeter and Connie Jarm tied for first place after 36 holes with Streeter winning the playoff to claim medalist honors. Streeter posted rounds of 75-77 with Jarm shooting rounds of 76-76 as the duo each posted a 152. Payton Morgan recorded a 156 (78-78) to tie for fourth place. Tia Phaisan added a top 10 finish by tying for ninth with a 161 (80-81). Laila Saunders placed 19th with a 167 (79-88).

The Tiger "B" team placed ninth with a 741 (368-373). Jamisyn Kirkpatrick tied for 13th overall with a 164 (79-85). Lainey Madill tied for 25th with a 170 (86-84). Mackenzie Pike placed 43rd with a 201 (98-103) and Olivia Prauner placed 44th a 209 (105-104). Brianna Wright finished with a 214 (113-101) to place 45th.

Next up for the Tigers will be the Nebraska Intercollegiate held in Hastings on October 4-5.
