Jarm Wins Home Invite; Tigers Take Team Crown

LINCOLN, Neb. - Doane University women's golf turned in a dominant performance on its home stage, winning the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invite held in Lincoln, Nebraska, across two courses—Wilderness Ridge CC (Day 1) and Pioneers GC (Day 2).

The Tigers' "A" team claimed the team title with a two-round total of 638, shaving 26 strokes off its opening round with a tournament-best 306 on day two. The second round score is a school record. Doane finished well ahead of Hastings (669), while Saint Mary (NE) and Doane's "B" team tied for third at 683.

Doane's depth was on full display throughout the field, as the "B" team matched Saint Mary for third place and the "C" team added a 12th-place finish (826). 

Individually, Doane dominated the leaderboard, claiming five of the top six spots. Connie Jarm led the charge with medalist honors, firing a 154 (80-74) and posting one of the best rounds of the tournament on day two. Kaitlyn Dumler followed in second at 159 (84-75), while Avery Van Horn of the Doane "B" team placed third with a 160 (82-78).

Isabelle Johnson tied for fifth with a 164 (83-81), matching teammate Jamisyn Kirkpatrick (84-80) to round out Doane's top-five presence. Payton Morgan added a top-10 finish, tying for 10th at 169, while Laila Saunders finished inside the top 20 at 172, highlighted by a strong 77 in the final round.

Additional contributors for the Tigers included Emmarie Miles (22nd), Kaelin Martellaro (T-32), and Olivia Bull (34th), along with several "C" team and individual competitors who gained valuable experience over the two-day event.
