Ottawa Defeats Women's Tennis

Doane Women's Tennis dropped a 6-1 match to Ottawa (Kan.) as the teams met on a neutral court in Lawrence, Kansas.

Doane received a forfeit win at No. 3 doubles and at No. 6 singles. The Braves picked up wins in straight sets in the other matches.

At No. 1 doubles, Ava Macke and Liz van der Torre dropped a 6-3 decision. Macke hung tough at No. 1 singles, falling 6-2, 6-3.

The Tigers return to the court on Sunday, February 26, in Fremont to take on McPherson (Kan.) at 12:30 PM.
