Women's Tennis All-GPAC Honors Announced
Doane Women's Tennis placed six players on the 2023 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference list. All six were recognized in both singles and doubles play.
Receiving First Team honors was Liz van der Torre at 2-singles. She posted a 5-2 record in conference play and went 11-12 overall on the season. Ava Macke was named honorable mention at 1-singles after going 3-4 in GPAC play and 8-14 overall. Ashlyn Kucera was 4-2 in conference and 8-13 overall at 3-singles, earning honorable mention. Nina Ngo posted a 14-10 overall record and 5-2 mark in conference to pick up honorable mention honors at 4-singles. Kailyn Groski was 3-3 in GPAC play and recorded a 5-17 overall record, receiving honorable mention status at 5-singles. At 6-singles, Grace Schroller was 6=13 overall and 3-3 in the GPAC to earn honorable mention honors.
In doubles play, the team of Macke and van der Torre went 6-1 in GPAC play and 12-10 overall on the season at 1-doubles. Their efforts landed them on the First Team list. Kucera and Ngo were 6-1 in GPAC play and 12-9 overall, receiving honorable mention honors. Groski and Schroller went 3-3 in GPAC action and 6-13 overall, receiving honorable mention.
Doane finished the year with a 10-14 overall record and placed third in the GPAC with a 5-2 conference mark.
