Women's Tennis opened GPAC play on Saturday afternoon in Yankton, S.D., with a 7-0 victory over Mount Marty.

In singles play, Maria Purizaca won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Mariana Espinosa won by injury default after taking the first set 6-2. Liz Calderon won 6-3, 6-3, at No. 3 singles while Isabella Castillero went the distance at No. 4 in a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 win. Grace Schroller won 6-3, 6-3, at No. 5 with Kat Johnson winning 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) at No. 6.

In doubles, Purizaca and Espinosa teamed up for a 6-1 win at No. 1. Calderon and Schroller won 6-4 at No. 2 with Castillero and Johnson winning 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.

Doane will be back at home on Tuesday, March 25, when they host Kansas Wesleyan at 3 PM.
