Three Women's Track and Field Athletes Qualify for NAIA Nationals
Women's Track and Field posted three NAIA automatic national qualifying marks and two provisional marks while competing at the Concordia Early Bird on Saturday.
In field events, Doane picked up a pair of national qualifying marks in the pole vault. Kaylee Pribyl won the event with a mark of 3.67m (12-00.50), posting the fourth-best mark in program history. Kennedy Stanley matched her personal best in the event with a clearance of 3.57m (11-08.50) to place fourth.
Macy Fuller placed fourth in the weight throw as she hit an automatic qualifying mark with a throw of 16.66m (54-08.00). Mia Knigge placed seventh as she posted a provisional mark with a throw of 16.02m (52-06.75).
Rosalyn Roggasch placed fourth in the triple jump with a provisional qualifying mark. She posted a mark of 11.28m (37-00.25). Morgan Craig had the top mark in the long jump, placing 19th with a leap of 4.89m (16-00.50).
In the high jump, Sarah Theiler placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.60m (5-03.00). Sydney Biermann placed ninth in the shot put with a throw of 12.19m (40-00.00).
On the track, Kat Vogt placed sixth with a time of 26.68 in the 200m. In the mile, Danie Parriott placed second with a time of 5:37.84.
Doane will return to action on January 6, 2024, when they host the Ward Haylett Invite.
